Terms of Service

Last updated 30 August 2026

The agreement between you and us covering use of this service.

Before you publish this. These pages ship as a working draft. Replace the bracketed placeholders, then have somebody qualified read them against the law where you and your customers actually are. Nothing here is legal advice.

These terms govern your use of this service, operated by [Your legal entity name] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

1. The service

We provide software for tracking bid bonds, renewal deadlines and compliance documentation. The service records what you enter and reminds you about it. It does not provide surety, insurance, legal or compliance advice, and it does not guarantee that any deadline will be met.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for keeping credentials confidential, and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. We may suspend an account that is being used in breach of these terms.

3. Your data

Your records remain yours. We claim no ownership over the projects, bonds, certificates or documents you store. We process them to operate the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, provider outages and events outside our control may interrupt it. Where we offer a service level, it is stated in a separate written agreement.

5. Fees

Fees, billing periods and renewal terms are those set out at the point of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of tax and are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.

6. What we are not liable for

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, nor for lost profits, lost bids, lost contracts or lost goodwill. In particular, the service is a reminder tool: responsibility for meeting a bid deadline, renewing a bond or maintaining insurance remains entirely yours. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

7. Ending it

You may stop using the service at any time. We may end your access for a material breach of these terms that is not corrected within a reasonable period after notice. On termination you may export your data for [30] days, after which we may delete it.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Where a change is material we will give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction.
